Pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, a public hearing has been scheduled for August 27, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Summerlin Meeting Room of the County Administration Building, Kings Mountain Rd, Collinsville, Virginia. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive citizen input into the possible issuance of a Variance for the following case:

Case V-14-01 Dennis E. Scales
A request for a Variance was received under Section 21-304 of the Henry County Zoning Ordinance to allow for a front porch addition onto an existing residence. The proposed addition will extend to within 57’ from the center of the adjoining right-of-way, instead of the required 60’. The property is located at 3000 Horsepasture Price Road in the Horsepasture District and is zoned Agricultural District A-1, as shown on Tax Map 60.7/84.

The application for this request may be viewed in the Department of Planning, Zoning & Inspection between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

And, it appearing by Affidavit filed according to law that the whereabouts of Gonzolo Navarro Rodriguez (father of deceased) and Maria De Jesus Pena Tamayo (mother of deceased), and Parties Unknown, the above named defendants, are unknown and that diligence has been used to ascertain the location of these defendants, it is ORDERED that the above said parties appear on the 18th day of September, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. in this Court and do what is necessary to protect his or her interests.
